Dear Valued Customers,
We understand how frustrating it can be to successfully install your new medicine cabinet, only to discover the light isn’t working. Don’t worry—we’re here to guide you through troubleshooting step by step.
Step 1: Check the Power Connection
The most common cause of the light failing to turn on is a loose or disconnected power supply. Follow these checks:
1. If your medicine cabinet is hardwired: First turn off the circuit breaker, wait a moment, then turn it back on.
2. If your cabinet plugs into an outlet: Try unplugging the power cord, pausing briefly, then reconnecting it.
3. Additionally, try reconnecting the power cord behind the cabinet’s hinges.
A quick check: If power is connected properly, the small internal socket in the cabinet will emit a blue light (see image below). If you don’t see this blue light, the power connection is almost certainly the issue.
Step 2: If Power Is OK, Check for Loose Internal Wires
If power is confirmed (you can see the socket’s blue light) but the cabinet door light still isn’t working, a loose wire inside the cabinet’s electrical box may be the cause.
We’ve provided a wiring diagram and instructional video below—follow these to reconnect the wires (if needed).
